Comté Tolosan is a regional denomination covering the entire winegrowing area of southwestern France. It is a mosaic made up of lots of small wine regions or sub-zones that are part of the Aquitaine Basin. The area’s white wines have remarkable aromatic power. The red wines are round and harmonious, revealing the rich potential of the local vines.
In its southern reaches, the Côtes du Rhône Villages wine region spreads across the Rhône’s terraces and alluvial plains, not to mention the slopes of various hills, atop which so many small villages are perched. Rhone wines derive their style, richness and originality from the diversity of the region's grape varieties.
